Hi everybody!
Brand spankin' new here.
I own, and love Glocks for their simplicity, and reliability. So after some reading on here, I ended up going to knifesshipfree.com, and bought the Izula in tan. Came right back to the forum, went to the picture thread (big mistake), and 30min later I was ordering an RC-4.
Now I'm just sitting here biting my nails waiting on them to show up.
I was looking for a good camp/all around knife, and didn't want to spend over $60. Well $150 later (for both), I think I got the best knives on the market at that price.
A friend of mine was giving me hell about not getting the Falkniven knife for the money I spent. This is the same guy whose always gave me hell about my Mora Clipper. All I told him was we'll see who got the best value when we test them in our camping trip next weekend. I have always believed that 440c and 1095 are the best blade metal available, but if my research doesn't deceive me, RAT's tempering is one of a kind.
I've always felt confident going in to the woods with my kukri machete, and Mora Clipper.
I just hope my new knives will lighten some of my load, and of course look tacticool in the process.
Anyway, Thank You for your time and input of how wonderful these knives are, and will post pics, along with other toys when they arrive.
Now let me get to postin', so I can get my RAT#
