Rat3 and tak on backorder

Well my wife has informed me that my Christmas present will not be here for Christmas. She orderd me a Rat3 and Tak, both in 1095 for my Christmas presents from Brigade Quartermasters and they said it was back orderd till Middle Jan. or Feb. Im really happy im getting them but man do i hate to wait another month.......
 
That sucks man. You should buy a couple more knives to tide you over whilst you wait. ;)
 
Well thats ok Rat, Ill get them when i get them, i guess. She has had them orderd for a while now so maybe they will be there sometime in Jan. I have been wanting a RTAK and Rat3 for so long now. I can wait another month or two i guess. The only thing that bothers me is that I know it hurts her Christmas. I told her Im a big boy. I can wait, but she really wanted me to have them for Christmas.......Im not worried about it that much. Now on the good side is, I just went to Walmart and bought me a spyderco native, I dont know much about this knife so i hope its a good one.
 
Wow, that's really interesting - seems that the Ontario RAT knives will be getting a sort of "upgrade". :thumbup:

Hope that the already great quality does improve even further and that
the prices remain the same!

I was at Walmart just an hour ago.....playing with a Spyderco Native. Very nice little Spydie...one of their less expensive line but a smooth little lockback nonetheless. Razor sharp as are they all!

I also handled a Buck Omni Hunter FB for the first time. Many that's a big, beefy hollow grind!

I'm with Dylside. Get one more (in addition to the Spydie) to tide you over! It'll make Mama happy! :thumbup:
 
It sounds like you have a great wife Wildone. I can feel your pain I have been waiting since 1-Oct for my RAT-3 from Brigade. I thought about getting one someplace else but now I want the one from the new tooling.
 
StrechNM, I have a Buck Onmi Hunter 12pt folder already and its a great knife. I dont know why there not very popular. I love mine and yes its a beefy hunk of knife for the money and it is made in America. I like the Spyderco Native, i think its gonna be a good knife for every day use and man that thing was sharp out of the box like no other. I hope yall have a great Christmas.
