Rat3 for survival?

i would not recommend that blade for survival use, It's just to short, i believe a survival knife should at least 5 inch, 7 good and 9 inch better. Remember that you can always get in a position where you need to cut down trees and stuff to make a shelter.
 
OK good point then carry a RAT-7 or the RTAKII if there is room ,that is a monster chopper ... but to me the TAK-1 is a great all around camp knife...
 
I can not wait until the release of the RC4 & RC6 ,I will give them a excellent work out as camp/survival knife this coming summer,hitting the outdoors in Texas -Colorado again.
