RatManDeux LE

I finally got my blade..I'm really happy with it. I noticed that it's quite hefty for it's size..It feels heavier than my black fighter kabar with an 8" blade.It's not that big or thick but it feels very strong. I also got my mashedcat sheath and it's excellent.I didn't know it came with a teklok so I ended up with two of them.After a long battle with a very stubborn teklok I finally got it on the sheath properly.I have it set up for reverse grip( ice pick) draw on my right side.

Congrats! The Deux le is an awesome blade.
 
^Nice! I like that Mashed Cat sheath. Some kydex sheaths I've seen for the deuxLE look kind weird because of the top guard, but that sheath looks good.

Yeah it's a really good sheath. You could probably even mount it vertically without trouble. I tried shaking it out upside down and it wasn't falling.

I need to stay away from this place!
I love my first run RMD and this is the first time I have seen the LE, man what a nice blade, could not help myself and just placed an order for one:)

Have a question, is the blade a bit longer on the LE? or basically the same profile as the RMD? I have a nice leather Chuddy Bear for my RMD and wonder if the LE might fit also.

Congrats - the LE is one of my favorite all-time Bussekin knives and is the reason why I have not ordered a SAR6 or ABJ LE.

On your question, yes it is a bit longer than the CG RMD - I will get a pic up in a few for your - I wouldnt think it would fit in a leather CG sheath... the top guard also might make it sit differently in a sheath. Cant say 100% though...

Oh ya! that baby is not gonna fit.

I feel a bit embarrassed :o
I went back to the company store for specs and the picture of the LE has a RMD with it, I swear it was not there when I ordered, I was so fixated on the LE!
Your pictures show the size comparison much better though, thank you.
 
The RMDLE is a great feeling knife. I have mine in a SpecOps sheath and it will be making some trips out soon. Thanks for sharing yours!
