Ratmandu at its finest!

Awesome pics mate and great little review :)

You can't go wrong with any of the Busse brands. Welcome to the madness!!

:D

The knife is roughly 138.00 dollars plus 12 dollars shipping. If you want to get one hurry up and order it because im sure they are going fast. Eric Isaacson is an awesome guy. He instantly responded to all of my emails and made sure my blade was out the door quickly. You can check out the exchange forum and find one used for around 120-135 dollars but i suggest you go to: http://www.shop.ratknives.com/product.sc?productId=208&categoryId=1 and get a brand new one before its too late.

I wanted to let you guys know that I now have a video camera as of today so my next post will include video. Im not sure if I can get the video to play on the forum, but worst case scenario it will be a link to youtube. Im hoping for some good weather this weekend, but rain, snow or shine, im making a video of this baby in action =) It will be my first ever video production, but it cant be that bad because its going to have a Ratmandu in it

Get'n while the get'ns good :D

I agree the RMD is a fantastic knife. I'm so sold on it I've now got 4. One is always attached to my 3 Day pack (Kifaru Zulu), One is my dedicated truck knife (stays in the console), One is stripped and is my regular user, and One will stay in the drawer as a pristine backup.

It reminds me of the Goldilocks Story -- not too big, not too small, just right for almost every normal task.

purchase an RMD several months ago. I was so impressed with the steel that I had a custom maker forge me a differentially hardened chopper form 52100. These blades hold an edge a very long time, and take a very fine edge as well.

They definitely take a good edge and hold it. Ive been beating mine to hell and you wouldent even be able to tell its been used. I am also impressed at how well this coating holds up. Great knives.
