If the RMDLE is half as nice as the satin job norcalblacktail did on mine, you guys are DEFINITELY going to want one. Talk about a SWEET RMD . . . arguably the finest survival/utility knife ever made and purdy too! ;) :D
 
I actually prefer a blade of the RMD's size in through-hardened SR101. But hey, that's just me. :)
 
I hear you. But the ONLY advantage I see to using INFI in a blade the size of the RMD is corrosion resistance. And the price delta to achieve that just isn't worth it to me . . . especially given how well SR101 takes and holds an edge.

If you maintain your satin SR101 blades properly by keeping them clean and oiled, you shouldn't have a problem with corrosion. And if you do, to paraphrase Jerry, just beat it off the blade. ;) :D
 
I have been checking this thread since before the sun came up, pretty please w/ sugar and such let us know how to get these.
 
Suns on the decline. Nightfall sooner than later. Between this and the busse company store page (since it's the 7th), I have visited the associated pages more today than any day in recent memory.
