Ratpack knife!

So, got my RP knife Friday, thanks RAT and Shotgunner family. Happy holidays to you too, hope I won't need the bandage! :)
 
I got mine on Saturday! I opened the box, picked up the bag, and my wife ripped it from my grasp and ran away with it. She said I can't see it until Christmas! I didn't even get to look!

You’re lucky. If mine gets here by Christmas, I have sworn I will not open it until Christmas day. We’ll see how that goes.
 
Got mine in the mail Saturday. Just wanted to say a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE ' Thank You ' to Jeff and Mrs.Shotgunner11 for all they did :thumbup::thumbup:.

Just got mine in, and it's sweet! I've been wanting an RC-3 for a while now, but have held off because of the Rat Pack knife. I sure am glad I picked this up! I have an Ontario RAT 3 and have always liked it, but I like the RAT version much more. The handle fits my hands better. I didn't realize that the RC-3 and RC-4 were so similar. They're the same knife, the RC-3 is just a bit shorter, and made out of thinner stock. Thinner and lighter, but with the same excellent ergos. What a winner!

I can't wait to take this thing out and wail on it! It will be replacing the RC-4 in my pack, because it's so much lighter. I'll have to be a little careful with this thing- it's thin and light, which I like, but prying is definitely a no-no.

Thanks to everyone involved! And a special thanks to Mrs. S- the bandaid the knife shipped with has already been put to good use, on my dog's ear. He's looking quite tactical now, with the camoflage boo-boo strip on the nasty growth he's been trying to get rid of for the past few days. :thumbup:
 
Got mine today. Doe is hanging in the woods waiting to have my new knife tested in the morning!

RP knife came today at my work I LOVE IT! In a couple days I plan to take some pics
and post them of places I've yet to see a RAT knife it may scare some of you,it may make some sad,some will find it funny,but know this I'll be taking a big risk but I've been wanting to do this for a while now might as well be done with the RP knife maybe the HEST to as it would be fitting! and thanks to all who brought th RP knife to life,
and thank you MRS.S for the bandage,
crap!! it looks as if the weather will be taking a dump here for the next couple of days
and will put a damper on the pics I want to take,so soon very soon.
 
Well my RP knife arrived today... or at least I think it did.... found the empty box with Mrs Shotty's mailing addy on it.... I looked at Mrs Coffee all I got was a look and "Wait to see whats under the tree...." :( :( :(

Took my 19 year old daughter out shopping today for her birthday. She leaves for the AF in Feb. When we got to the house she spied my new orange handled RP Knife. I had already given her a RC-4 in tan. She picked up the RC-3 and said, "I like this one better". I told her if she gets that flight status job she wants and completes SERE, she could have the RAT Pack knife #288. I expect she needs it more than I do. But maybe she'll change her mind. :D

Dam! that sucks! I'm so glad ordering was in oct right before my 11 yr anniversary mine came in as my gift (worth the wait!) I'm trying to get
a RC-5 for christmas I have a BK2 I love it and beat the crap out of it,but still
I can't get the RC-5 out of my head.

your going to have to get your hands on something Mrs.Coffee has been waiting for or needs & have her trade it or wait for christmas to get it,
if she is anything like my wife you have to go big to get her to crack:D
