Ratweiler LE finally available!

Surprised that it is so thin. I've been thinking I would want a Ratweiler, but I thought they were a little thicker. Waiting on a Ratmandu anyway, so insufficient funds.

I did notice that they now list a lot of scale options for the Rodent 5 now. Disappointed to see that. Only because that is the blade I really wanted, but I'm sure when I went in to look at it when I ordered the Ratmandu, it only was available in black blade with black canvas scales.

Oh well... Interesting to see that Ratweiler. Maybe they will come out with a thicker one, later, when I have more funds available.

Just occurred to me... Maybe it is a typo? .165 vs. .265 thick?

I hope the CG is 0.25 also. If not I'll probably opt for a muddy R6 instead.

Decided to go for it and ordered one...
If that AMSMO @ 0.17 can go through a 2x4, the Ratweiler @ 0.165 should be strong enough and a hell of a slicer!!! :thumbup:

I'd give SR Customer service a call and see if they can change your order since it probably hasn't been made/shipped yet. They have a FANTASTIC reputation and can probably hook you up with what you really wanted in the first place. It can't hurt to ask.
