HI folks I was ask to make a piece for an art show with one catch it was a Raven themed art show so I made a raven themed Knife It took 3 try's to get the raven head to look right I almost gave up I am glad I did not. this is also me first rolled in penny guard. Came out great! Nice feather pattern on that blade - goes well with the raven theme too.

Totally freakin awesome...lol I really want to see a picture slightly from the side with the raven carving in focus and with the whole knife visible. My friend would really appreciate this raven themed work of art.
 
You have mades some super cool carved butt caps in your day, but for me, this one is the coolest. Beautiful knife.

Fine looking Bowie! What material did you make the fittings from? Are you going to be doing Boise this year?

This piece is super from the feather through the fittings and the stag, not to mention that awesome Raven!

Come on, tell us what the fittings are made from, and what about the patina, which looks equally fantastic in the photos.

"FREAKIN AWESOME" indeed Dave!! Feather is amongst my favorite damascus, and the guard, nice piece of stag, and raven pommel ALL add up to AWESOMENESS!

Perhaps my favorite of your creations to date.

And, of course, the famous Lisch feather pattern is perfect as well, and you did a bang-up job with the guard

new look, but unmistakably "D-Lisch" :p
 
It's a nice one - for sure. I had a chance to hold it too. The pics are nice here, but the real thing is awesome. Dave's best.

This one is just smokin' Dave, my favorite of yours also!Looks like the beak could cause serious pain if this piece were ever called into action for self defense!
