Ray's work needs little introduction, so here are the specs:
Jumbo Size (Only a few in existance, most made over a decade ago--this one was made about two years ago) Two Blade Slipjoint trapper or folding hunter with Modified Clip and Semi-Skinner blades. Amber Bone-Stag scales with black fiber liners.
Blades: D-2 Steel marked on reverse side of Semi-Skinner blade Bolsters: 416 Stainless Dovetailed. Each perfectly centered in the trough.
Milled and relieved liners, and pivot bushing construction.
Inside of the knife is mirror polished too, just one of those "extras" that separates Ray's work from the rest.
Overall Length is a whopping 8 7/8"; Closed length 5 1/16" and should not to be confused with the more commonly found 4 1/8" closed version. This knife is not only longer, but proportionately larger all the way around.
From my collection, but in Unused, unsharpened as new condition. Ray is no longer taking orders on a consistent basis so don't miss this rare chance to own this Almost impossible to find two blade from Ray Cover Sr.
