Sorry for the not so great pictures, but I assure you, this knife is real nice.

Yep. I've got to say that Ray's work is some of the best for fit and finish that I've handled. The slip joints I've seen from him have been flawless perfection so I'm sure that little lock back is just awesome.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this one available from Vince when I checked into BF this morning.

You're quit right, Dan, it is going to be very comfortable here and will fit nicely into the family. It is the same size and model as a certain medium Cover lockback with elephant ivory scales and is the smaller brother of a large Cover lockback with similar amber jigged bone scales with the black liner, both of which previously resided in Belleville. IIRC they were among my first two or three from Danbo's Ray Cover, Sr. Traditional Slipjoint/Lockback Adoption Service - I am blessed.

STR, I agree whole heartedly - the attention to even small detail as well as all aspects of fit and finish is remarkable.

Patient, dignified anticipation is my lot until it gets here. There are much worse ways to run out the string on a short week.
