That's a pretty good lookin' pocket knife, don't you think?

Yes, I do. It looks great. I love the clean lines and impeccable fit and finish on Ray's knives.

Darn fine lookin knife... I really like the way the bolsters and the scales are finished at an angle where they meet. Adds a nice touch, instead of just being straight cut like a lot of knives are..

A fine Ray Cover knife. I've said it before, but he does seem to get the best carved amber stag bone.

"Dovetailed",as they say.Another thing on this one, that I did not capture in those backyard photographs,is the "sunken joint" - the back of the blade tang sits below the bolster when closed, for smooth poket riding, like this :

Hey Vince, your thread title is redundent. Ray doesn't make anything other than "nice ones". :) This one is no exception.

dang, that guy makes a helluva knife.

He really does. His spring (snap),and the pivots are strong, when it's open it has a good strong sturdy feel to it.The drop point style hunter blade is pretty unique, but useful, has a good point to it
Thanks for the comments fella's,I took some pics of this with my new light tent, but I'm working out the bugs, these daylight outdoor pictures really show it off better.I froze, momentarily, taking those

Marty you are right,I should've said, one of the nicest (I've had my paws on,anyhow),Due to the size, too
Thanks,
-Vince

that sure is a handsome piece there. I'm willing bet that it cuts real good too!

Nice one, Vince.

I still miss the single blade beauty I sent to Rob Thomason though I love my double blade which is like the larger sibling to yours.

As has been said, Ray doesn't make any bad ones.

Ah,the ones we've parted with,they do haunt us,don't they :D lol.
Sunnyd posted a thread on a Case with red bone, yesterday,I almost added pics of one I once had,I couldn't do it,I was in shock,as I looked back at it,and then there's the little Reese Bose shadow & I even had a chance to buy it back, too, but passed !!
Rob's got a pretty cool old timer type custom he traded off me,too.I got some cool stuff off 'ol Rob,too, though, all good, but :
It's tuff being a knifenut,I'll tellya.

I have yet to see a knife made by Ray that I didn't covet. I wish he would do some more with bolsters at both ends, though. I just prefer that look.

Not Good looking, GREAT knife, but as many have said I have not seen any by Ray that were not nice. One by Ray was my first purchase of 2008.

Here's one I have that someone scribbled all over. The bone is actually a little closer to the color as Vince's, but my amateurish photos don't capture it as well:
