Ray Cover, Sr. Double Blade Trapper

Hey Elliott and Ford,

You fellers left a couple of these lying around my house recently.

Thanks for coming by even though you both probably felt a little bloated and were a little cranky. Elliott, that idea of yours for carrying Maxi pads in a belt sheath on heavy flow days is a real wiener in my book.

"knife purse" or "cotton pony sheath" I'm so confused. I guess it's the same thing.:)

LMAO :D

Mike, like Elliott and I keep telling you..."go with the flow, and keep a couple in your purse." :p

Oh, and we weren't cranky either, maybe a little sensitive, but not cranky! ;)

And furthermore, the only reason we had those with us was to clean the bore of our .410 pistols which we each carry two of IWB like real men do. A little Hoppes oil on the tampon, pull string through bore, and we're ready for action. Bwahahahahahah!!:D:p:p:D:eek:

When not in the pocket, the Cover looks pretty nifty in the Paul Long belt pouch that I originally purchased for the Tomes Scagel:

You have had that knife for two days. You are probably getting pretty tired of it by now. You also probably have my address. :D

James, I think it's time to switch to decaf. I'm just sayin'.... :p

I drink about 3 or 4 pots of leaded a day, just to keep me going and sometimes I get excited about something. :D

Sorry about the LARGE FONTS, I did change them in respect of your wishes.

Hmmm, I know it's somewhere around here... :p

James,

It was all in fun (though I do appreciate your dialing it down a little).
Lord knows we have more important stuff to obsess about. (Knives even... :p)

Got this Ray Cover yesterday. It’s 3 3/4 with stag that I had sent Ray. I ordered it back before he had his new model out so I was expecting the older model but I think this is the new one.

As expected, great fit and finish and it’s quite sharp. The steel is S30V. I'd still like to get a two-blade knife from Ray at some point, but I'm happy with this one.

Nice to finally see it, Mike. Congrats on a fine addition!

That is a beauty! Great looking stag! I'm sure you will enjoy carrying that one.

I picked up a new Cover myself a couple of weeks ago, not a new one by Ray but just new to me. Snakewood I believe. Fortunately I have a very active imagination so when I carry it I pretend it has two blades like the one Blues has and that it has stag scales like Mike's.

I agree with Jerry on the snakewood! Another fine addition to Rob's covery of Covers.

My knife didn't take much longer than Ray said it would and it's well worth the wait.

Mike, that is a beauty for sure! Congratulations pal.

Rob, that snakewood looks exotic and very nice. Oh, and with such an active imagination as you have, you could probably send all your knives to the other RPBM corporate execs, and just imagine that you still have them.

Imagine how much fun that would be! ;) :p :D

Here is a couple of real pearls I recently purchased from a forum member. Ray's knives are real lookers and the fit and finishes could not be finer.
