A very sweet and cleanly made blade from Ray. A bowie design, it will also serve all your other chopping, and camp chore needs well. A perfect to the woods knife.
The previous seller listed this as A2. I contacted Ray, and it is 5160. A solid 1/4" thick, but its superb design allows for it feeling very lively in the hand. Overall length of blade is about 8".
Top notch cocobolo handles feel amazing in the hand. The wood is perfectly figured and matched. The handles alone make this blade a hard one to part with.
As an honest seller, for full disclosure, when I received this there was a bit of rust on the handle spine. I polished this out by hand, but there is a small amount of oxidation coloring that remained. This is not very noticeable and I could not really get it to show up in a pic.
Fit and finish is as good as it gets, as you would expect on a blade from Ray. Nice leather sheath included.
