Review to follow when I've gotten time to take it outside.

Blade steel: 1095, 1/8" stock
Blade length: 3 1/2"
Overall length: 8 1/4"
Handle: black canvas micarta with red liners and stainless pins/tube

Wow.....that is a nice one. I think ive found the next blade I wanna order. That looks about as close to perfect as you can get for a usefull woods/bushcraft blade to me.

Whats the grind on yours?

Yep, I like that design a lot. I think that Ray guy might know what he's doing :D

I think you and Sal Glesser could make a few quid together. One or both of you might not be interested in that, but I think it would be naïve not to consider the legs on it.

Ray does some great work, I'm sure that knife will prove itself very handy over time !

Also black canvas with red liners, i got mine with a bit of a dropped sheath.

gotta say that i really like almost everything i've seen from ray.

and that's only *almost* because i've seen only one or two in the exchange being resold that weren't quite my style. still great work, just a personal style thing. but there was an all steel necker yesterday that was really nice.
 
Awesome, clean design. This one just talks to me.....and it's gettin' louder every time I see it. Just about perfect.
 
I've got a less sexy, somewhat longer-bladed version of that. I am quite happy with it.:thumbup::)

Mr. Laconico does good work.:D
 
So far, so good. :thumbup: Earlier today I slaughtered a mango with it. :D
