Putting up a few more pieces of this rayed oak. This set shows a bit of the diversity, although there is more to come that isn't represented here.
Note there can be slight inclusions here and there which can be filled with CA or epoxy.
These blocks can be sanded and buffed to a really nice finish as is, or you can try different finishes on them. Whatever works with K&G resin stabilized wood. This is not an oily wood so not a problem child.
If you browse some of my work you'll see examples of this oak.

Thanks for having a look.
Set 1.
A: Top piece 1.35 by 1.63 by 6.25 - $55.00 This is fairly normal with a bit of fungal growth giving it the lighter color in places. In a hundred pieces there won't be but a few of these. This one is off the band saw, stabilized with no sanding or buffing.
B: Bottom piece 1.35 by 1.52 by 7 - $45.00 This one is a normal grain rayed oak. This one has had some light sanding and buffing. Nothing near a finished sand/buff. This is a great bargain if you want to try this oak out and see some of it's potential.

Set 2.
A: Top Piece 1.25 by 1.56 by 6 - $ 55.00 This is a lighter color with great contrast between grain and rays. This is going to make a spectacular handle for someone.
B: Bottom Piece: 1.1 by 2.2 by 6 - $55.00 This is a darker piece but still showing great contrast. That will come out more with a good sanding and buff.
