I paid for the emerson mini 15 sunday night june 29 he listed for sale. Paid his asking price and paypal fees immediately afrer saying I would take it. He closed the thread shortly after that. I have emailed him 6 or 8 times asking if it shipped and if I could get the tracking number. No response from him but he continues to surf this forum!
Thanks
Calemerson

Some people are just bad at communicating. Speculating the reasons why is futile. The seller has plenty of positive feedback. I guess the only thing you can do is wait. If it arrives you could always leave positive feedback (after all, you did receive what you payed for), but in the notes I'd detail his lack of communication. Just so others know he's that type of seller.

It chaps me considering his post he made a comment about timely payment. I paid right after I said I would take it. No reason for him to ignore 6 or 8 of my
emails. He also has his settings here so he does not accept pms.

I sent him a message with a link to this thread.

You have to be a paying member to send PMs.

Good Lord. Why post this so soon.....?? Really, a couple of days - literally, and this? Not cool on OP. Not the first time either.

I agree, it was a little early for this type of thread. However, asking the seller to confirm that he is in receipt of the funds and that all is good, isn't a new concept here guys. It's called being a courteous seller. It seems as though it was a misunderstanding and I'm glad Hobart chimed in, but I for one hate selling and buying knives from people that leave you in the dark. When I sell a knife, I'd like to here that it arrived safely and that the buyer is happy. It's not a big deal if I don't, but it does give you (the seller) piece of mind. When I purchase a knife, I'd like to know that the seller received my funds and I really would prefer at least some tracking info. I really don't think that's asking for too much.

With all that said, it sounds like the OP is in the habit of jumping the gun and that's not cool.

OP like many "users" as that is what they are, chose not to pay the min $10 required to support BF, and to have PM service. He also has USED this forum multiple times to benefit himself and also do so without regard to the rules of the exchange.

this thread shows that multiple times he asks questions within the thread of another OP that should have been asked in email or again PM. What has not been mentioned is that He and everyone has VISITOR MESSAGING, which he used many times and could have used to notify in this case as well.

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-Horseman-FT-lower-48?p=13365560#post13365560.... The same OP also has a history of posting BUMP within his own thread . Attempting to move his post to the top of the page, a no-no which rightfully cost me 10 points.
In a thread of 17 post 9 a total of 9 post are from the op typing BUMP.

Op has a rating over 45 meaning he has made full use of the forum, yet have never paid for the protection and confusion eliminating $10 for PM service. as info

Calemerson,

What chaps me, are "users" like you, who will spend a good amount of money for a knife, but refuse to spend a measly $10 to upgrade your account, so that you can communicate effectively with the paying "members", & also make a small contribution to this wonderful forum.

Way to go, posting this negative thread in the GBU, because you lack that very important virtue: PATIENCE!!!

OP- Please do me a favor & add me to your ignore list...I have already added you to mine.

I just read this other recent post of yours:

You not only try to trash an upstanding member's reputation (rayhobart), but you offend the Moderator's with your stupid, thoughtless, incessant whining in another thread, only a couple of weeks ago. You need to either grow up, (stop your attention seeking drama filled tantrums) or just do us all a favor & leave this forum! What an immature, "I WANT IT NOW" crybaby!

And while I'm on roll, calemerson...

You might want to do attend a casting call for AT&T's next commercial; you would fit right in with these kids:

This one's was for you, RevDevil...I post what you Mod's feel like posting sometimes:

Mods were not helpful, made me wonder if they are not buddies. i didnt re-up to gold membership when it came due because of the mods.
USN members have been much better to trade with. They seem to be very honest.
Thanks
Calemerson
Well, I am sorry that you felt we were not helpful. We did what we could, you are very welcome in any case. Thanks for the backhanded compliment; glad you had a good experience elsewhere, they are lucky ducks to have you.

Another case in GBU where the OP ends up embarassing themselves and when facts/history are revealed - it is even worse. Hopefully, people can figure out who to add to their ignore list. Some folks are better to avoid - period.

Maybe one day Spark will put in a rule that if you spend more than 50% of your time in the exchange you will need to pay up!!
