I custom ordered this beautiful blade from ABS Master Bladesmith Raymond Smith. I had seen his rendition of the Woodcraft pattern, and asked him to build one in Damascus. I sent the knife to Paul Long for a custom lined sheath, which completed this gorgeous package. It has been a display piece only for me, and has been carefully maintained with mineral oil and Ren wax.
The knife is 9" OAL, with a 4 1/2 " blade of Raymond's own damascus, 15N20 & 1084. The blade has excellent file work, and a perfectly ground swedge. Raymond used a beautiful piece of stabilized maple burl on the pommel. My limited photographic skills do not do this knife and sheath justice. I have over $500 invested.
