Hey all,I just want to sing the praises of Raysem.
I was looking for some antler to make an Opinel handle out of & offered up one of my already modified Opis for a trade over in the JK sub forum trade thread.
Ray saw my post and said he had some antler & then posted pics for me to see & pick from.
I liked what I saw & after discussing what his preference was as to the size of Opi he wanted, I offered to send him 2 Opinels so he could get an in hand feel & pick the one he liked best.
Not only did Ray send the antler, he cut the tines off the main beam of the big one for me and he sent a big 'ol slab of Purple Heart wood also.
All I have is basic hand tools besides a Dremel & drill and no shop to work in (dining room table
) and I worried I'd mangle the PH cutting it down to Opi handle size so I'd probably pass it on to someone else. Ray offered to cut a piece of his remaining stock to a manageable size for me on his band saw & send it with the other Opi he was returning.
Well..not one but two pieces were in the package with the returned Opi!
What a guy, first he sends the big slab as an extra bonus, then he cuts down a couple more pieces for me and included them in the package with the returned Opi..

Anyhoo, since our trade didn't originate in the Ex. & Itrader feedback isn't warranted I wanted to let folks know about the pleasant experience I had dealing with Ray.
He's a stand up guy and because of his limited & infrequent feedback in Itrader I wanted folks to know they can deal with confidence when dealing with RayseM.:thumbup:
