Josh is:
A - Talented. He can put an amazing edge on any knife you send him.
B - Knowledgeable. Josh is a wealth of information on all things related to sharpening.
C - Open. After only a few correspondences with Josh you will quickly come to understand that he is more than willing to share what he knows with you. He is not interested in withholding trade secrets, rather he wants to share what he knows with anyone that is interested in learning.
D - Fair and Honest. While I am sure he is not the cheapest service provider in the sharpening segment, his prices are extremely reasonable.
E - Dependable. If he quotes you a date, he finishes by that date.
F - A Really Nice and Friendly Guy.
For the record, I have never met Josh in person. I have only interacted with him on this forum and over e-mail. He has sharpened a number of knives for me, and will be doing more in the future. I would not hesitate to send him my most valuable and treasured knives, and am pretty sure he would be a blast to have a beer (or soda) with.
To put it another way, I think Josh is good people.
