I was fortunate to purchase a beautiful Dark Timber Knife at Blade earlier this year. Peter did a great job forging an amazing blade, and it was very sharp from the factory. Let me be very clear here; Peter is an amazing craftsman and I could have happily used the factory edge for the rest of my life. However, this is a very special knife and I thought the edge was a 98 out of 100. I knew I could not make it any sharper, but also knew that this amazing piece of craftsmanship deserved to have the best edge available... so I sent it to Josh.

The pics speak for themselves, but I will add that this knife will both spilt hairs and chop through a brick (almost :) ). The edge is both a testament to Peter's forging skill and Josh's finish sharpening skill. Thanks to both craftsmen, I own an amazing knife.

Yep, Josh really is an amazing craftsman. I think I've had about 10 knives worked over by him and everything he did was great: the work, communication, etc. I can't say enough good things.
