Well it is all finally done!
This is one of those projects that has taken way more time than expected.
First time doing this kind of box with all details, first time trying domed pins, curved lid, etc does this I guess... :)

The knife has a Damasteel blade attached between two fileworked bronze liners that has a whale jaw bone center and snakewood scales.

The box is manily made out of 4mm leather that is lined with a thin soft leather.
It has a hidden oak base within that the walls are stiched to.
The "hardware" is all bronze and Damasteel, with two spheres of the previously mentioned whale jaw bone.
The bronze feet and the bone spheres are all "handlathed" with a Dremel, a few files and plenty of sandpaper.
The knife lays on hares fur but that can not be seen in the pictures.

I call this set Last Shave...

That is just outstanding! Amazing eye for design and craftsmanship...thanks for sharing!

In on the first page. :)

Mind-blowing designs and rich materials. Outstanding shapes, and the display box presentation REALLY sends this project into the stratosphere.

Impressive images, too. No one rectangle would be able to impart this sense of workmanship here--so we have many. :)

Thanks. Someone is going to be thrilled. ;)
