Has anyone an opinion of the Extrema Ratio T-razor? I like the looks of the knife, but how usefull is the design?

In the beginning of 20th century officials in Southern Italy banned carrying knives with a sharp tip exceeding 5 cm blade lenght, so local smiths started making knives with flat tip, like straight razors. This E R - knife is a modern version of those "Rasolino" or "Mozzetta" knives. A sheepfoot has a tip (kind of) so it is different, but the idea is the same, a knife that can't be used for stabbing.

I've been seriously considering this:

I have that one. A fine knife, but I would like to get a locking version. Also the handle is in my opinion bit thick and the tang too long. I shortened the tang slightly and I am thinking of thinning the scales. There is plenty to grind away in the scales.

The edge is slightly curved so you need a round ceramic rod to sharpen it, a flat stone or diamond file will not do.
