RC-4 Sharpshooter sheath

just got my Sharpshooter black leather sheath in the mail today and it is excellent--fits like a glove--feels great on the side--if anyone likes leather better than Kydex like i do--you gotta get one of these--you will be pleased:D
 
I own one for my RC3 and it;s the best sheath I own. The sheath is the perfect size to hang from my belt and into my right front pocket of my jeans if I want to keep it out of sight:thumbup:
 
I'm crazy about leather....

It is certainly different strokes for different folks. I like a world with options!
 
I gots a feelin' you will be gettin' some requests for some that fit some very special RC-3's soon!:thumbup:
 
Got one for an RC-3 and love it. Too bad the Fire Kit won't quite fit the loop. Anybody had a sheath made that does?

The problem is the handle on the RAT fire kit is so big around. It accommodates what it was made for -- a small survival kit -- but it makes it impractical to mount on a sheath. I looked at ways to modify the sheath for that very reason and couldn't figure out a good way.
 
It actually fit tight going in upside down, so I suppose if you did and inverted carry on a pack strap or something like that it shouldn't fall out. Worth an experiment because I really like that whole RC-3/4 + Sharpshooter + Fire Kit idea.
 
I really don't like the look of those sheaths.
Sure they fit like a glove, but in my opinion they look like somebody tried to baton trough a giant piece of liquorice, then got stuck and thougt: "'Hey, I''ll attache it to my belt and pretend it's a sheath...:D

If they were in brown leather I'd take one, right away
 
I was looking at those a couple of days ago. However, I like the sheath that it came with, so I don't see the need for it :o
 
Pictures? I would love to see what you guys are talking about. Sounds like a great sheath.
