RC-5 and RC-6 handles

I've got a guy who wants to sell me his RC-5 that has RC-6 scales (green liners and all). The photos he sent me look like they fit just fine, but does anyone know firsthand that they are 100% compatible?

they use the same scales for the 5 and 6, other than the bowdrill divot. but each set of scales is hand fitted to a specific blade, so they may not be a perfect fit.

I haven't had any trouble with my swap. It's not a 100% match but it's close. I'm happy wigh the swap, but the linen is almost too pretty for a knife like the rc5.
