Thanks guys. This happened because Jeff and I argued like two old married folks for nearly two years about details. But to answer the above question, both the RC5 and the RC6 sheaths (two different sheaths) have the same bolt hole pattern that allows the MOLLE back and pouch to mate up. And we may not be done with using at least part of this rig yet. Other projects are currently in the pipeline and we have the MOLLE back as a POSSIBLE part of the sheathing. Don't you just love nebulous statements like that?:)

I can't wait to get the molle backing and pouch for my RC-5 and soon to be here RC-6. What a GREAT idea. There goes the rest of my spending money!!! The RAT Pack set up is just as great idea. Hopefully I'll be able to get all those things very soon.

The pouch and idea on this set up remind me of the M11 EOD bayonet sheath, has a utility pouch attached to the sheath. I have a small camera case (w/2 pockets) that is attached to the kydex w/ para cord, similar in function and it works well.

I have said it before and I will say it again... I love how modular the RAT sheaths are! This is extremely clever.

Bump for the molle back and pouch. I've been so busy lately I completely missed this.
Wow, really excited about this setup. I got my 6 in April and have been waiting for RAT to come up with something. I knew it would be worth the wait. The molle back is just what I was wanting and the pouch is a cool bonus. I love the modular capabilities of this set up. Perfect.

This may be a stupid question, but do you have to have the molle back in order for the pouch to fit the hard sheath? Or can you attach the pouch by itself to the sheath?
