RC-5 Kydex sheath material?

Hello!

Is the RC-5 kydex sheath a different material than that of the RC-3?

It looks different but it is hard to tell from pictures.

The RC-3 has a molded plastic sheath along with the RC-6. RC-4 and RC-5 sheaths are kydex.
