RC-5 mods

Looks pretty good. I understand where you're coming from but I think personally I would have left some steel under the divot.

ESEE knives are heavy duty, survival/working knives, and as such extreme durability under survival type conditions is necessary. To me the strength and durability of ESEE knives are their strongest selling points, and I see no reason to sacrifice strength for weight savings in situations where your life could very well depend on the tools you have at hand. Any extra weight is easily worth the returns on overall strength and durability in my opinion.

Of course there can be a reason to improve things, even if they were made by ESEE. Cmon man, they're survivalists, not rocket scientists!

The divot doesn't see a whole lot of action so it's really a non issue. Don't even get me started on the divot.;)
 
Excellent, I like it a lot. You made it your own, and IMO better. I'm going to send a link to this thread to my brother in case he wants to do something like that to his RC-5.
