RC-5 vs Windshields (after shots only)

There's an ESEE-5 in both my old wore out LandCruiser and my wore out Toyota pickup truck as a primary rescue tool. I learned my lesson trying to extricate a crash victim last year, and from that point forward the 5 has been in every vehicle I drive.

Only thing I wish I had gotten was one with serrations, but I bought this from the original owner, so my next one will have serrations.

Why? For ease with seatbelts?

^ I was thinking of serrations for the 5 just because it's an all purpose knife. Not to sure yet But there would still be plenty of blade for cutting. I want one because of it's thickness and durability.
