I really don't see how any of those handles would be any more comfortable than the stock handle. I must say that my RC3 is probably one of my favorite knives in my hand. It's a simple design that is very comfortable and simple - for me.
I think what you did and what other have done looks great and I give you props for trying it out on your knife. I also do some mods to my knives that I think may work. Some work out good and some I regret
