RC 6 molle back??

Why the Rc6 dont have a molle back?? Will it be an option in the future? I think it would be a great:thumbup:.
 
I have a proto type on my desk that is 80% correct. I have been working on this since the RC6 was introduced. I have been through three companies trying to get one that can make the MOLLE back for the RC6 hard sheath correctly. I am still working with a couple of companies to try and get this thing done in the next few months. STay tuned. Mike
 
Thanks for the update, i hesitate between 5 and 6. The Rc6 with molle back would be the wwinner for me.
 
I think I remember reading about a drop loop attachment that was in the works. Is this still in the pipeline even with the MOLLE back on the way?

I think this would probably be a better option for alot of us non-military RC users. Don't get me wrong, the molle back works for belt carry, but I find the velcro slot in the back is a little to shallow for my belts(app 1 1/2") as it won't securely velcro around my belt as there isn't quite enough velcro left to make a good contact and tends to slide around alot. Perhaps making velcro "pocket" a little deeper say 3" instead of 2 1/2" could gives us the best of both worlds(and allow me to get rid of my ugly mud flap back on my RC-6 :p). Just a thought....

Last I heard from Shon, this is being worked on. Maybe he can post an update.
 
We are in fact working on this. We have had a little bit of a problem finding a economical source for the metal clip we want to use though. We have found a clip we like, its just VERY expensive. We will have the proto at blade and should have them available just shortly after Blade.
 
And that is straight from the manufacturer!
