Is it just me, or when you get your hands on a RC knife you just don't want to let go?

This RC-6 is just a GREAT KNIFE!

I have small hands and even though it is a large knife it fits in my hand well.

I especially like the grove made in the blade above the handle where you can put your finger to get better blade control to do finer detailed work.

The sheath if very cool, I put it together easily and it holds VERY secure.

I am only 5"4' and even with putting the MOLLE system as low as it would go it looks like I am wearing a holster for a .357 target master like on Starsky & Hutch, LOL.
(Actually "Hawk" on Spencer for hire carried the target master):)

Even though it is long I put a sweater on and you can't tell I have a knife :)

Randall knives have a draw to them I have never felt with any other knife, custom or production. It makes you want to not put the down, and if you do you want them within reach, still close to you.

The finish on the blade is great and the knife IS RAZOR sharp right out of the container.

When I held the knife in my left hand and drew it out with my right it almost felt like drawing a Chinese Sabre from its sheath. That is the kind of feeling I got from the unique handle design.

This is a knife you can depend on, that WILL NOT let you down when you need it the most. Not meaning to sound prideful, but this is a knife you can be proud to own and carry.

I am very impressed and very happy.

Thank you very much Mr. Randall and TEAM for all the hard work, attention to detail and features that this knife has to offer.

Nice writeup on a great blade. The RC6 is a big blade that feels very free natural in the hand. Love it.

oh no!! it has began!! quick! let go of the knife before you get any more addicted and NEED to own every rat knife!

great knife by the way.

Some very good observations. The 6 is on my short list of "soon to be aquired" if I ever start making any money again! Thanks for your input.

The 6 rocks. It's my favorite out of the presently available lineup.

alittle large for my taste, but works well for cutting thru ribcages of deer. prefer the izula over rc-3 or - rc-6 for common carry but probly go for the rc-3 or 4 for forest and jugle use. just my opinion of course.

Yer in trouble now. I started with the RC6 as well but it wasn't and wont be the last.

I carry my RC4 as my EDC fixed blade all the time.

And yeah you can't get these knives out of your hand.

I don't have a RC-6 yet, but I'm going to order one when the new pouch that includes a 5 or 6 and fire kit comes out. Hopefully very soon!!! Nice write up on your 6.

Definately. I am giving away all of my non-rats. Nice article and I couldn't believe how nice the knife is.

The RC 6 is one of the go to blades, as are all the other RC blades. It is a great knife for around camp.

Oh ya, the RC-6 is a very capable knife. Glad to see you are enjoying your RC-6:thumbup:

I've got a RC-6 but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Nice review. Makes me want to go use mine......if only I had more time in a day. LOL

The RC-6 is my favorite of the RC line, but I'm always waiting expectantly for the ratpack knife to be out.

Its really hard to give glowing accounts of the RC-6. There is absolutely nothing flashy about it. Its just a solid, well built, well balanced, well thought out blade that happens to come with an incredibly, arguably more so than the other models, versatile sheath. I think its the most versatile simply because of all the lashing points on it.

Like any good knife that you use regularly, you just sort of learn to take it for granted after awhile. It always works the way its suppose to, it always feels good in the hand, and it, like no other mid-size knife that I own thus far, manages to accomodate both fine and brute tasks with ease. Not a good chopper, but it is the darned best camp knife I own.

Any knife that can split a log in half. And then immediately slice meat, has a place on my hip

The RC-6 Finds alot of use around my plot. Used it to clear fencing path last week, cut wire out of my trees last night and cleaned 25pounds of chicken as well.
