RC got my back

RAT Cutlery will always be responsive to their customers. Period. If we ever get to the point that we are so busy dealing with our big customers that we don't have time to deal with the single customer's warranty issues, then we'll quit the business altogether.

And I think I can speak for most of us when I say that the above quote is one of the main reasons that we are all becoming RAT Devotees. Yes, RAT & Rowen are turning out some amazing products! truley amazing! But, there are still alot of of knife makers that also turn out some great stuff.
What is not common place is the above and beyond level of devotion to excellence and customer satisfaction that you guys have committed yourself to.
I have been a blade collector / user / abuser for most of my life, however, this has to be one of the first times that I have felt part of the process / family. I know for a fact that if I have a prob with one of my RC's that I can shoot you guys a mail or hell, even catch ya on the forums which you guys check daily and have...not maybe..FOR SURE have my problem resolved. I know I can throw out an idea and it will be read, I know I can shoot the S&^% about RAT in general with the OWNERS!! wow, how many times have ya been able to say that?

Its an incredible thing you guys have started with RAT and yes, as long as it stays the same, I too am a customer for life.

Class Act you guys!

While I hate to see another American cutlery company go under, if Ontario doesn't impove their QC and customer service, they deserve to fail. It was a shame that Camillus folded. Their knives that I bought were usually well-made. Let Ka-Bar get those military contracts. They seem to be pretty good. I probably own more Ontarios than any other brand. They used to make a good product for the money, but it seems that lately there has been a rash of defective knives going out. Just my $.02.

A bit over a year ago I was away on business and went into a store to browse. I came across the knife dept and browsed really heavy....Saw the RAT 3 and asked to handle it. The guy opens the case and lets me check one out. Ok, this one's got a rusty edge and it's NIB, let's see another, and another, and another! Out of 7 RAT 3's only 1 had partial rust on the blade edge, the others had a solid line of rust on the working edge! I passed, and am glad I did; now that RC has started up and has major QC!

Yeah I wonder if Ontarios QC is sending the military the same stuff that the publics getting cause if they do then the gov might decide to take it's buisness elsewhere after reports come back that they are sending them junk..... then again the military just gave another huge order for M4's so who knows.
