RC3 and coyotes

thanks. i just put my trailcam out over a deadcow, hopeing to get videos of coyotes fighting over the carcass.

coyotes can be sold for their furs. i skin them and sell them on the market. trapping is a fun pastime with a rich history that i enjoy being a part of and something which i hope my children can enjoy with me in a few years. hunting coyotes is also a good way of keeping in shape for other hunting seasons.
 
a 250 yard shot, and it looks like a clean kill. I doubt I could hit one that far off these days.

Not really into coyote hunting. Locally the guys go up to the power lines and toss out pass "sell by" dated meat, and sit and wait for the coyotes to come in to feed on the stuff then they just open fire.... they don't take the coyotes for the fur, and they have to draw them into the area.... leaving behind dead coyotes and empty six packs..... have stumbled onto the rotting coyotes on several hiking outtings with my kids, always makes all of us sad. I have no problem with folks hunting, nor with them hunting coyotes or whatever, but using animals as target practice seems very wasteful to me.
 
with the exception of gophers i dont kill anything unless i plan on making the most of it. furs from coyotes meat from deer/moose, etc.
