RC3 or Izula as an EDC blade?

I would go with RC-3 simply because I prefer a standard handle, seems very comfortable yet small enough to EDC
 
I was really wanting to carry the RC-3. With gun and spare ammo it was difficult for me to find a comfortable way to do so. so here is what I'm trying to see how it works..so far so good. I have the Glock mag carrier piggy backed to my RC-3, lashed with 550 cord.

is that bulky at all? i imagine it would be.
 
As some of the previous posters have said, it depends on your need, and the environment you will be carrying in. If concealment and/or general utility usage is foremost to you, and self defense is secondary, then I'd go with the Izula. Otherwise, go with the RC3.

It's on you to decide the need, and the parameters.

actually its not too bad. I tried it with a double mag carrier and it did bulk it up. With the single the belt passes through between the knife and mag carrier and is very comfortable. I dress around my weapons so this is a trial to see how well it does and if it works out will have something custom made.

Looks good TDC. Im gona get the IZULA as my main EDC and ill wait to get the RC3 when i save up a bit more money. Thanks for all the insight people. Appreciate it
 
Good choice rc3mil. Izula is an awesome blade and easily carried many ways. Ive carried mine in my pocket, horizontal on my belt with para cord and as a neck knife.

wow i thought it would be bulkier. great set up. :thumbup:
 
Believe it or not I carry both now. The Izula is around my neck, and the RC3 sits behind my glock on my belt. I also carry a dillon super knife in my pocket.
 
I recently purchased the RC-3Mil and now prefer the canvas micarta slabs over the linen micarta that are on my RC-4.
 
I have men EDC'ing my Izula since the day I got it. I dont have a RC3 so I cant comment on it, but the Izula is a perfect carry knife for me.
 
At work I carry my rc3 edc at small of my back paracorded horizontally with right hand draw and do it comfortably. paracorded gives it a close fit to the body. It depends what clothing you're wearing. My Izula is definitely easier to carry concealed.
 
i pack my izula everywhere except work, on the belt with a tek lok. iam only alowed a folder at work. so i can not wait for that izula folder!!!!
