My Search-Fu sucks and i know this has been discuesed before, perhaps in the sheath forum but I couldnt find it o im bringing it up again.

If someone can point me to the original thread, thats be nice too...


I have a "classic" RC5 with the survival sheath. Im curious as to what everyone is carrying in theirs? Post some pics if you have them as well. Mine'sempty right now and Im just looking for some ideas...

I am with SB RAT Firekit,sharpening stone, SAK folder
 
A Vic Farmer, a Scout model firesteel with 2 sections of hacksaw blade for strikers and perhaps to use as a (gasp) saw, a 4" DMT coarse hone, and a mini-Bic...
 
I know.. i havent sprung for the membership yet. i stumbled across a similar thread a while back and later couldnt find my way back to it.

thanks for the ideas guys. looks very similar to what im putting together. ive got a firesteel there now and am looking for toher ideas to fill it up.
 
fine arkansas stone, silicone rag and my surefire flashlight. That combo is great for wearing around camp once you've parked for the night, that way you have easy access to knife/maintenance and flashlight.

Also, I believe you can get the search function with the basic $10 upgrade but to sell stuff and increased pm's and such you need the $25 gold
