This is after I convexed the edge.

I love this knife, it’s my favorite RAT; not to big, not to small, no choil, just right.

In fact I still have it and Tony may never get it back.

The knife is a beast, and it will do almost anything you want it to do. (I never said good, but..)

It is a wonderful knife, and the point is just an added feature.

Not to highjack too much, but does anyone have a side by side picture of an RC5 next to a BK2?

I still want one of these. I think it was Tonys review and pics that pushed me over the edge. (Both Tonys actually, that Tony from Texas is an enabler too :p)

Yeah Texas Tony is bad. You and him are both killing me on the NWA forum:grumpy:

Jeff from Rat Cutlery is sending me a an Izula for beating on the RC-5:)

The point on the end of the handle presents no problems at all in carry or use. I was abit concerned about it as well and since working with the knife and a large amount of handling have forund it to be a non issue.

I don't remember if you mentioned it or not, but where about does the RC5 balance? Is it handle heavy? That's awesome too, the Izula is a little beast.

I haven't picked up the RC-5 in over a month since Big Mike and my schedule keeps conflicting.

I do remember it not being as handle heavy as the RAT-5.

Maybe Mike can answer the question.

The RC-5 balances just behind the front fastener, or pretty much right on the first finger.

I find if feels very neutral in hand, and would not call it handle heavy.

Thanks Mike. Yep, I'm pretty sure I need one. Though I definitely don't need it, I am really drawn to the tank like quality of that knife.

Tony, when I saw you posted I thought, "texastony will hook me up". I know you have both...could you post a side-by-side of an RC5 and a BK2 - a comparison of "The Tank" and "The Train Wrecker"
