Late last month I mailed "rdbyrd" a US Postal Money Order to purchase a Cold Steel Gunsite II from him. He mailed the Gunsite to me even before he received the MO from me. The package arrived to my mailbox on the 3rd of this month, but as fate would have it, some SCUM-BAG noticed it before I did, and STOLE the package out of my mailbox. (Delivery was confirmed both by the "Delivery Confirmation Number", and by the "mailman" who delivered it.). I contacted my local Post Office., and filed a police report.
I e-mailed "rdbyrd" to let him know that the package was delivered, but also stolden right out of my mailbox...
Completely on his own, he offered to send to me, FREE of charge, a Cold Steel Large fully-serrated Clip-Point Voyager, that he "just has sitting in his drawer, not being used", to help take the sting out of my loss.
I received that Voyager knife today.

To me, that is a deal beyond the "call of duty", and I thank "rdbyrd" for his kindness.
