I came home today and found a package!

I pull out my little Olive Green Cadet and what do I find? A pair of Green Victorinox Pioneers! These were a Special Edition that was made for South Africa! I've been wanting one of these for quite awhile.... I really like Green, and I didn't have a Pioneer. I had been looking, but I could not find where to get one. The one place online only delivered by hand to hand courier. Well, this was a nice surprise!.

I'm not really a "collector" and I like to use my knives. I feel a little guilty just letting one sit in a box and me not use it. So, to share my good fortune, I'm giving away one of the knives I received.

To enter, there are three requirements:
1. You must have at least ten posts in the Traditional forums prior to this post.
2. Post what you think you'd do with this knife (use, collect, sell, doesn't matter).
3. Say you are in.

Feel free to post pictures of a traditional knife, someplace pretty with a traditional knife, cats with traditional knives or tell a knife story if you like.

I'll use a random number generator to select a winner after January 31. Entries received after January 31 are null and void.

Thank you, and I'm in, and it will make a perfect gift to one of the Cub Scouts in our local troop.

Oh, very nice! I thank you in advance for the chance of adding such a specimen to my display... And yes, that's exactly where it would end up... placed in a display case (hey, it's a hobby I enjoy)... your one specimen would be enjoyed by you as a working specimen, and the other as a displayed specimen, lol! :-)

I would definitely use the knife! Great color pattern wow.. I'm in and thank you for the giveaway enjoy your new pioneer and let me know how you enjoy the pattern. I had a cadet once upon a time and gave it away, the pioneer just felt so much more capable and I usually feel guilty of not using a great knife.

Count me in please!! She would become a user for sure! Looks so nice in green! Thank you so much for your generous giveaway!!

What an awesome GAW. Count me in. I have a hard time buying something I don't use, so she'd be a user, but a user that's taken care of.
Thanks again - this is pretty awesome.

I'm IN!!! Love the green Pioneer, would be great for hammock camping....or just EDC.

I'm in please. That's a great looking green. I would definitely carry and use it. Thanks for the giveaway.

Case large Stockman.

I'd definitely be in for this giveaway!

I would carry the heck out of that! I am a scout leader with the boy scouts, and bring my heavy leatherman for the can opener and bottle opener.

I have a kydex Neck sheath for a Pioneer, and no pioneer to put in it! Ive never owned a SAK or Victorinox.

I'm in. Thanks for the opportunity to enter. I would keep the knife if I am chosen.

Im in. I would definitely carry that one and assuming I can get my boy involved in cub scouts when he gets old enough I would give it to him. Makes for a pretty neat first knife story along with a machete I brought home from Kenya that will one day be his.

1- I have more than ten posts:thumbup:
2- I would give this to my son
3- I'm in!!

A green Pioneer! Holy Moly, that's awesome

Green's gotta be my favorite knife color, my first GEC (73 Scout) was green, and I've been after green handles ever since :D That Pioneer would go to all of our Scouting events.

I'm in!

Here's one I've been carrying lately, a recent manufacture green bone Utica:

Thanks for the opportunity!

Very nice GAW. Please count me in. I would likely pass it to my youngest, Luke. Then I would go to the chest and pick one out from the collection to maintain the spirit of the GAW.

My pic.....my outlaw taken while living in Monterey.....
