Re-Blading Legality

Yeah you can do it without too many problems as long as you aren't violating any patents or trademarks... Spyderco will sell use of their spydie hole for up to 50 blades a year if you want to use it. I've made several reblades now but it takes a lot of time and I charge $400+ per blade.

What about opinels? What would that cost, ballpark, if i asked for, say, 10V?

Haven't done an opinel, but I imagine that it would be somewhere around that you can pm or email me if you wish. But I agree with other posters here that it's definitely not worth it to dump that amount of time or money into a cheap blade. You would never get the $$ back out of it!

Lets all try to steer clear of asking for and quoting prices and such.

If anyone wants someone to do this job, just post it in The Exchange " Services Wanted", or send a PM or other message to any prospective maker. Shop Talk isn't for sales talk.

? It must have been moved. I seem to remember this thread being in General. Sorry if i am incorrect

Could someone make a deal with CRK to stock replacement discontinued knife blades? It's just a matter of time before I can't get a replacement for my Sebbie 25.
