Re-building my 50 pounder......

This project has been going for a little while......When I got the 50 I took most of it apart and washed it down. Decided it needed new babbit bearings and got a crew(ragtag band of misfits):D to help out. Here are some pics.
Please no comments on how "Hot" Aldo looks!:eek: More pics as I sort them out.

Looking good Mace, I redid mine two years ago and did it with my father and father in law it was a fun weekend. Are you going to reweld the clutch fork and fit it to the pins as well? the only reason i ask is i just got done redoing my 25lber last weekend and that is what it took to get it running better...........Erik

Here are the last few till I get home and put the "new" head and toggle arms in. Kieth, The reason I waited was....well....theres not a whole lot to do in Hope after dark...as you know.:D

looks good. could you give a short walk through of what you did? i can usually tell whats been done by pics, but im at a loss here, is that some kind of putty epoxy? i ask because i plan to snatch one of the lgs up as soon as i can and fix it up. thanks! :)

Ah, that looks a lot like mine (same era).

It's amazing how heavy that whole shaft with flywheel and clutch is:eek:
