Here's one I've been messing around with for a few days. First re-curve blade I have done that made it to becoming a knife. Its got a 9 7/8" blade, more iron fittings and a sambar stag handle. Overall its just under 15" and weighs 13oz.

Oh, that is so sweet looking. The colors and textures are PERFECTLY set up and the soft curves are.... okay, that's sick. Violently sensual:eek::D:eek:

Really, That's the best thing I've seen in a while for pure functional art.

Geez Ray, a couple more inches on that guard and you would have a "D guard" Bowie!
Looks good though.

Very nice ! Is the blade serrated ? or is that a optical illusion

Just an illusion. I don't think its caused from the camera but could have something to do with its operator. :D It does look kind of serrated on the bottom picture. Not sure what the cause is.

Great looking knife! Very proportional with really clean lines. Did you forge the top bevel in place? I thought I saw where you were trying this on one of your threads earlier.

Yes, I did forge in the top bevel on this one. Not really sure if I gain anything by doing it that way since it isn't much work to grind one in.
