So I did some o1 recently and they came out beautiful. Even used mr Marchand method of straightening a little warp during first temper. Second temper my oven had some issue it was set at 425 and I looked and it said 583!? So I turn it off and back on and it holds at 425 for the rest of the cycle. The color on the steel is a purple and gold. Looking at the tempering color chart I'm thinking 540ish. It was only at 583 for minutes max. If I did over temper it, can I just re do the heat treat or do I need to anneal then austenize etc?
