Re-Grind

Believe me the thumb studs on the 0550 work perfect...no need for a flipper..it my fav ZT... I wanna see a krein regrind Tilt
 
Does anyone have any kind of contact info for Krein? I can't find a website for him or any kind of contact info.
 
I emailed him last night, and he got back to me this morning. No more regrinds in the foreseeable future :(

I hope if he does change his mind at some point I'll hear about it in time, I'd send him my 301 and 561 tomorrow if he'd do 'em!

I think the 0350 is a better bet since you have the grip of the G10 on both sides..but since I always carry clipped to my pocket, I'm not sure how it would feel.
 
I have to say...I'm just not a fan of the regrinding to remove the recurve. It makes the blade look disproportional to the handle, and just all...wrong? You also lose cutting surface.

It does mess with the looks of the knife but, for me anyway:

1)It is easier to sharpen.

2)It does make it better for the tasks that I do.

3)Lightens it up a little, negligible, but still a little.
