Like the title says I have a rescue 93 mm and it has the serrated edge with the plain tip, I was wondering is there anyone on here that could re grind it at the same angle it is now to a plain edge, and if so would there be any down sides? Thanks

As was said, you would have to take off quite a bit of steel. There was a run made of the 93mm Rescue with a plain edge, you may be able to find one of those on the secondary market.

For the love of Mike don't do it. Get yourself a plain edge Atlantic Salt and keep the Rescue as is.

Ok thanks everybody, I really didn't want to have mine reground since it has the blue handles and they are hard enough to find, I just like to angle the blade is sharpened on does anybody happen to know what that is on the rescue?

^Are you referring to a chisel grind? (edge on one side, flat on the other)

I dont believe spyderco makes any chisel ground blades.

Aside from the edge bevel, the grinds of the PE and SE versions of the Rescue and Atlantic Salt appear to be the same, or at least so close that I can't see any difference.
