HERE FOR SALE a SEAX by ETHAN GOSS with a 5-1/2" long 8670 steel blade with a sheath that I made for it.

All photos taken today, July 4- 2023

I am at best, an amateur sheath maker. This was # 12. Made of Wickett & Craig 9oz veg tanned, Bridle Leather. I try something new with every sheath. This one has wet formed retention that is solid. This is a very successful and solidly built sheath, if I do say so myself - which I DO. ;)

This is intended as I wear my knife - on the left side with cross draw from my right - blade edge facing down when drawn.
The top belt loop works as I hoped - canting the knife handle forward on the belt. The extra loop and toggle is an accessory that is not necessary but will certainly allow for more secure carry.

Here is a detail of the loop and toggle ~

CONDITION ~ Knife is very - very - lightly used and is in PRISTINE Condition. Blade is phone book paper slicing sharp. Yes, can always be
sharper. ;)

SPINE SHOT ~

Specs:
• OAL - 10.75
• Blade - 5.5" long
• Blade thickness - 7/32"
• Steel - 8670- hand sanded finish with triangular cross section.
• Handle - Moose Antler bolster with stabilized wood handle of unknown species.

That's a sweet knife Ray, Ethan does excellent work!

Hell of a job you did on that sheath too... shockingly good in fact.

Shockingly good he says. :p Who would have believed it possible... ;)

Thanks much Josh. Hi praise, coming from you.
