I seem to have got the idea that the stock thickness for talonite varies somewhat from spec based on some casual comments by some custom makers.

Is this true?

In any case what is the 'nominal' thickness for the mini-Talon?

Weight? I know, I know... it's light, I just have this thing about tech specs.

Any plans to offer blue G10 or blue/black?

One more thing, are the handles easily removable? No epoxy, etc., simply screwed on.

Thanks,
Ron

Well....lets see, the nominal thickness at the spine is .125". Weight...I don't have a scale to weigh it but it's about 1/2 the weight of my hand held stapler..

The G-10 scales are affixed by torx screws. I don't think they are epoxied on too.(sorry, can't tell ya how many in/lbs they are torqued to

WOW,
We have 2 Ron's on the same thread! RKnight, Muzzleup! is right as usual, .125" thickness. Yes there is some variance in the material, but it seems to be all on the plus size, so we bring it down to .125". I'm sorry, but sitting here at my computer, I don't have any wieght spec's handy, but I would guess between 2 and 3 oz.s, without the sheath. We dont have any plans for any other handle material at this point. Henry Ford was right, you get any color you want, as long as its BLACK

.

The scales are simply attached with screws and an interior bushing, so if you wnated to remove them, it would be an easy task.

Thanks for the interest!
