Steel and Heat Treat:
Aldo's 1084. Hand forged. Nomalized 3 times to refine grain structure.
Edge quench (visible quench line) and then tempered ~ 60 Rockwell
Full flat grind with secondary bevel. Shaving sharp.
Features and Furnishings:
Stabilized zebra bone handle
Stacked leather spacers capped by stainless steel and bronze spacers, pin and guard
Sheath
Hand stitched layered, with deer skin lining.

Up for your consideration is a hand forged blades from the Ugly Dog shop. Forged from W1 drill rod, this blade has been normalized 3 times with computer control for grain refinement and has a ghosted Hamon visible in the right light. First "I'll take it" gets it.
