Re-purposing High End Gunstock Blanks

I went over to the gunstock guy's place yesterday to help move a couple things.
And....of course I came home with some new pieces.
A small marbled English Walnut chunk that yielded 4 big handle blocks.
The big score was a really good blank of Royal Walnut which is a cross between American Black Walnut and Claro Walnut.
The Royal is heavier and has smaller pores. One of the things I liked is the red/orange/brown coloring this piece has.
Really good figure too. As a gunstock this was considered "Exhibition Grade". When I cut it up some pieces will look better than others so you won't be able to call all of it exhibition grade.

The piece is actually darker than the photo looks.

Some of the Walnut has already been sent in for stabilizing but I am keeping some of the Royal ustabilized because I want to keep the unique coloring. In the past when I stabilized Royal Walnut I lost the red/orange coloring because it turned brown. It still looked good, just not orange. This time there will be both.
