Any of you guys feel like you are content and at peace with your Busse stable?

After about eight months I think I have finally reached my Busse nirvana and am 100% content... (for the time being... ;))

I've noticed that gone are my endless hunts on the exchange rooting out good deals and new blades to try.

I've been through fifteen Busse and finally have a grasp on what works for me and what doesnt. I know what handles, thickness, profiles and colors I like. I am one with my infi.

So at this point, not being a collector but a user, I've trimmed the herd and sold off all the ones that just sit and I feel like my stable is complete once a BWM gets here...

With that said, I am excited to enjoy my infi keepers, use the heck out of them, and sit back to watch what awesome Busse offerings come down the pipes - especially the HOG MUK :D

I guess I'm a pretty lousy piglet or hog

.

I am very content. I am always hoping for something that will excite me though. The Mini Muk would do that................... and a Culti................... and the Ghost Skinner.;):D

I am getting close, very close. I'm a little slower than you though--it's taken me somewhere between 150 - 200 blades to get me to the point where I am at. Still, getting there is no less rewarding even if it did take longer to do it.

I'm happy with the nmfbm I have (with standard scales ) as a heavy chopper. Since I now have a strict no-choil policy on any busse I purchase I'm quite happy with what I have. small city sized choiless general duty, 7" choiless do everything beater, and a heavy chopper.

I have a set number of knives that feels right to me and I'm always adding and subtracting around that number. When my collection gets too big I "feel" it and it's time to move some great knives to new homes.

That being said, I'm pretty content with my current stable of knives. :)

I was pretty content...then the Santaganzaa came around and kick started my appetite. In fact I ordered a Bushwacker yesterday, a knife I previous decided I didn't need.
Oh well.
:)

I am getting closer, alas my hunger for INFI is slowed by my lack of purchasing power.

All in all I am getting pretty happy. It definitely helps to set a limit on yourself of what you want/need.

I obviously have a few rare gems I am searching for.

I got only two, and I want two more. I need a chopper, so I was hoping for santaganza, and I thought I'd get myself a Mistress, and I want a HHFSH, its one of the must have busse's out there. But considering that to get a BM and SH I'd have to go and sell a limb or two, I doubt I'd be getting either anytime soon. I had a bad year $$$ wise and the coming few years look kinda bleak in the $$$ department, once I hit the big money though I'll get both. For now the GW and BATAC will do.

I'm 2/3-rds the way there now that my BWM is in hand.

a Culti will be next and my actual needs are done.

Yeah, I'm basically content, and have been for a long time. There are new ones that come along that I'd still enjoy, but I also feel no need for any of them. I'm sure I'll get more, but not due to lack of contentedness.

My needs have been fullfilled for a while now but my wants, well I dont think they will ever be.:o:)

MikeyMoto, Did'nt you win the MOAB in the Ganzaaaa, Congratulations my friend but you should be in Infi Bliss/Overload. :D But I guess we just can't get enough INFI!!!

I'm in a holding pattern.
Cultie, Warden, Nuclear EDC, PT5 and a BATACLE.
A Busse Ruck or AK would be icing. :D

I feel satisfied with what I have now and whats avalible now, BUT
Now I'm loving the Old School Straight Handles
I think that will be a seperate collection:D

Oh no, say Bye, Bye to the kids college funds.;)

I still have a long way to go. I only have my BATAC in my hands but have a BWM on order as well as my Santa score coming :)

I only sniffed the INFI dust about three months ago so my hunger is deep.

It's comforting to hear that there is an endpoint for some of you.

How much INFI does one need to be at peace with oneself?
